Micro Actuator Solutions for cameras in smartphones .
CREADIS and Actuator Solutions GmbH (ASG) in Germany have been cooperating on an innovation project with the result that ASG has been awarded the acknowledged German prize “Deutchen Innovationspreis 2014”, for the development of innovative solutions.
It was the development of a thin wire – thinner than a human hair – that can open and close valves, actuators or small micro cameras silently and accurately that won the award for ASG.
As cooperating partner, CREADIS helped with the process development and they were also in charge of developing the production equipment for the series of Smartphone cameras.
